Matki Manufacturer´s Product Guarantee TERMS & CONDITIONS

This product is guaranteed for 2 years Parts and Labour plus 8 years Parts* from the date of purchase
against faulty materials or workmanship. During the initial 2 years period it will be repaired or have
parts replaced at the discretion of the Company free of charge and during the extended 8 years
period, parts only replaced provided th

1. The original purchaser completes and returns to Matki Plc the guarantee registration form within
30 days of installation of the product and the fault, complaint or defect is notified to Matki Plc
within 30 days of the fault occurring.

2. The product or any parts are returned to Matki Plc with evidence of the purchase date.

3. The product has been purchased by or for the users for normal domestic use and not commercial
use and was not purchased ex-showroom display.

4. The product has not been misused or handled carelessly, and has not been wilfully damaged,
neglected or used in abnormal conditions.

5. Breakage of glass is not covered by the guarantee as glass by its very nature can shatter. All glass
used by Matki Plc conforms to EN12150-1 where applicable. Seals, subject to wear and tear are
guaranteed for the initial 2 years period only.

6. The product has not been modified, altered or transformed in any way and repairs have not been
attempted other than by staff or dealers authorised by Matki Plc. The guarantee will be valid only if
installation, use and maintenance has been carried out in accordance with installation instructions.

7. Fair wear and tear of the product and build up of limescale and mildew is excluded from the
guarantee.

8. No labour costs will be reimbursed under this guarantee unless prior agreement has been
obtained from Matki Plc in writing.

9. The benefit of this guarantee cannot be assigned.

10. This guarantee does not cover any rights other than those expressly set out above and does not
cover any claims for consequential loss or damage.

11. This guarantee is offered as an extra benefit and does not affect your statutory right as a
consumer in any way whatsoever.

*Gold and Nickel plated parts, Matki Glass Guard surface protection and Hardwood Decking are
guaranteed for the initial 2 year period only. Please retain your Glass Guard information sheet 1004
AF as proof of purchase. Elixir shower mixers, accessories and Matki Fastflow shower wastes are
guaranteed for 5 years.
