Balanced Flue Gas Fires
Balanced flue gas fires are becoming increasingly popular, in part due to their versatility which allows them to be installed in a wide variety of houses and rooms. Traditional conventionally flued fires have to be used in conjunction with a Class 1 chimney breast, and as these are becoming less and less common, some companies are gradually phasing out conventionally flued models. Most balanced flue kits consist of a vertical pipe (typically 1 metre or more in length, but this is not necessary with some models), a 90 degree bend, and a wall terminal. However, there are many different flue options that people can select, including pipes of varying lengths, bends at various angles, and terminals that exit through the roof.
